Judy told me that today is St. Patrick's Day and said Luck of the Irish to me. She will eat corned beef and cabbage to celebrate. She also asked me whether I have any plans for the weekend. Why she thinks that I care about a holiday of the Irish people, though I really like Irish pub and getting drunk.
One traditional icon of the day is the shamrock. It is said that Patrick used the three-leafed shamrock to explain the Trinity. Americans celebrate the holiday by wearing green. Traditionally, those who are caught not wearing green are pinched.
So what did I do after all? I opened a new bottle of Irish Spring body wash and took a shower. As it is said, I am enjoying 8 hours of freshness.
